This is the http://microbit.org web page multi-lingual project for the BBC micro:bit. We welcome volunteer translators and proofreaders for existing language projects. We have some exciting changes coming later this year and so we are pausing translation work on the website temporarily.

However, we still really need your help over on the Crowdin project, MakeCode for micro:bit https://crowdin.com/project/kindscript . Please join us! Instructions and tips for translators are available at http://microbit.org/translate/

We are enabling children around the world to get creative with technology and invent in school, in clubs and at home! The micro:bit is a handheld, fully programmable computer given to every Year 7 child across the UK - and now being used around the world. It’s 70 times smaller and 18 times faster than the original BBC Micro computers used in schools in the early 1980s. Started by the BBC and a great team of partners, the Micro:bit Education Foundation is a non-profit organisation.

All contributions are covered under our Contributor License Agreement http://microbit.org/microbit-cla/

** Please note that we are currently working on adding a 'new' branch that will solve a number of the issues we've had with translating front matter. Translations will continue to come from the 'master' branch until we switch to this newer system, when we'll update all users about the change. **
